Peridot Village

Peridot Village is a small, secluded village in the quiet copse of the thick nearby woodlands. A stream segregates the town in two, part of the larger Azure River which protrudes through the Atoria Region. It's made up of six or seven houses at most, and has a very quaint feel to it all.

Citrine Town

A larger, bustling town a couple of hours' walk from Peridot Village, Citrine Town may not be a hub of trainer activity, but it's certainly a travel hub of the world. From nine platforms, trains leave every thirty minutes to the nine most desirable locations in the entire region for young trainers: the settlements containing Pokemon Gyms.

Garnet City

Often the first stop for most trainers to acquire their first Gym Badge, due to its proximity to Citrine Town, Garnet City is home to a NORMAL-type gym. The forests surrounding Peridot Village and Citrine Town thicken up around Garnet City, but the City itself is built-up whilst maintaining a good, calm feel. The current gym leader is Blake, something of a lazy man.

Malachite Town

Malachite Town is a small forested town in the southwest of the region, a few hours' walk north of Garnet City. It's a far more quaint environment, and distinctly less populated due to the thick forest surrounding it, especially the notorious Chiten Forest that connects the two settlements. Malachite Town has a train station on the fringe, but there's usually a healthy amount of visitors due to the BUG-type gym in the area. The current gym leader is Cheyenne, a young, teenage girl with fiery spirit who knows what she's doing and is no stranger to the wilds around.

Obsidian City

Obsidian City is located to the far north of Malachite Town, a large, bustling place built on the mining industry from several mines dotted around town. The environment there is arid, but the people are warm and hardy. Obsidian City is home to a GROUND-type gym. The current leader is Eartha, head of the mines also, a young woman with a stronger personality than you'd count on.

Tourmaline Town

Straight off at the very north of the region lies Tourmaline Town. It's a surprising place, really; despite being a little small, the town generates power for the entire region from a huge substation at the fringes, the front of which is an ELECTRIC-type Pokemon gym. The gym leader is Payton, father of two and substation CEO with surprising conviction when it comes to battles.

Coral Village

A quiet, secluded hamlet with a strange air about it off to the east of Tourmaline Town on a plateau lies the quaint Coral Village. This settlement immediately strikes any outsiders with an odd air; not many who live here are under the age of sixty, but it's home to a PSYCHIC-type Pokemon gym in an old watchtower. The current gym leader is Ivy, an elderly woman and village chief with a surprising connection to her Pokemon.

Sunstone City

The sprawling industrial centre of the region off to the West, Sunstone City is hope to skyscrapers and factories alike, blanketed above by an huge cloud of thick smog. It's home to a STEEL-type Pokemon gym, the leader of whom is Stanley, a wealthy man aiming to build a utopian metropolis out of his humble city.

Aquamarine City

A resort and beach city designed for tourists, Aquamarine City is found in the South, leading right up to the water's edge. Plagued every year by flood upon flood of tourists all year around, Pokemon trainers come to try their hand at beating the local gym leader, Undine - the leader of Aquamarine's WATER-type gym.

Moonstone Town

A fairly usual town dwelling in the region's south-east reaches, Moonstone Town appears normal on the outside; however, after a tragedy struck the town ages ago, it seems to never leave a period of eternal night, with an abandoned, condemned high school taking place as the town's DARK-type gym. The leader is Vincent, a young man who graduated from that very school not five years ago - being the only alumnus left, he's taken control of things personally.

Victory Road

As with every region, separating a traveller from the final juncture of their journey lies the greatest trial yet: Victory Road. The last cave on the path to victory, huge and labyrinthine - and Atoria is no different. With all manner of strong wild Pokemon lurking in the shadows, it's both a trainer's delight and regret - and definitely a challenge to make it through alone.

Ivory City

Visible on the horizon from the moment one exits the Atoria Victory Road is Ivory City. A huge and impressive skyline is toppled only by the largest of towers upon the horizon: the Ivory Foundation Headquarters. More commonly known as the dwelling place of the Atoria Elite Four, whom consist of four, as the name suggests, elite trainers. The first is Piper, a POISON-type specialist whose conviction knows no bounds. The second is Gracia, a ICE-type specialist, and Piper's twin sister with just as much conviction, if a slightly more dainty air about her. The third is Rabe, a FLYING-type specialist, and a retired air force sergeant. The fourth is O'Connor, a FIRE-type specialist with the tenacity to attempt to match up to the Champion time and time again: a Champion who has held his seat of power for years. Victor.
